Molecular Physical Layer for 6G in Wave-Denied Environments

چکیده
The sixth generation (6G) of wireless systems are likely to operate in environments and scales that services have not penetrated effectively. Many these suitable for efficient data bearing wave propagation. Molecular signals the potential deliver information by exploiting both new modulation mechanisms via chemical encoding multi-scale propagation physics. While fusion biophysical models communication theory has rapidly advanced molecular field, there is a lack real-world macro-scale applications. Here, we introduce application areas defense security, ranging from underwater search rescue covert communications; cyber-physical systems, such as using health monitoring underground networked systems. These engineering applications only demand technologies DNA graph signal processing, but also demonstrate contribute traditional challenging areas. Together, it increasingly believed can be physical layer 6G, accessing extracting extreme wave-denied environments.

Sensor-Aided Navigation in GPS-Denied Environments
In this work we propose a novel approach to navigate users in GPS-denied environments with the help of sensors. The basic idea is to deploy wireless sensors over the field of interest and use the change of signal strength from multiple sensors to navigate users to the destination. To deal with RSS irregularity in a practical environment, an adaptive scheme is proposed to decide the scheme param...
متن کاملSemantics for UGV Registration in GPS-denied Environments
Localization in a global map is critical to success in many autonomous robot missions. This is particularly challenging for multi-robot operations in unknown and adverse environments. Here, we are concerned with providing a small unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) the ability to localize itself within a 2.5D aerial map generated from imagery captured by a low-flying unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). We...

متن کاملDirectional Networking in GPS Denied Environments—Time Synchronization
Mobile networks using directional antennas have many desirable properties such as Low Probability of Detection (LPD) and concentration of electromagnetic energy, resulting in improved range and data rates. To function properly, directional networks heavily depend on GPS use. This paper describes a decentralized algorithm, called “Fast RTSR”, for directional networking to re-construct time and p...
متن کامل18th ICCRTS: C2 in Underdeveloped, Degraded and Denied Operational Environments
The NATO Network Enabled Operations (NEC) C2 Maturity Model (N2C2M2) defines a number of command and control (C2) Approaches that correspond to various ways to accomplish C2 functions. These Approaches are defined by organizational the allocation of decision rights, patterns of interaction, and the distribution of information. Recent work in C2 theory has considered the differences in performan...
